这是说给孩子与他们的父母听的钱的故事。从对家中债务的忧虑开始，尤其对于导演的父母而言（他自己也正在成为一个父亲）。影片以诙谐的语调，从一位货币学家、一位哲学家、一位中央银行行长与一位发明了替代货币的教授的眼光，探讨了货币社会中有关钱的价值与流通的观念。

Money as explained to children and their parents. Starting from the worries about financial debt in a family, more specifically the parents of the director (whos also becoming a father), the film explores with humor the concept of the monetarist society as seen by a monetarist, a philosopher, a director of the central bank and a professor-inventor of alternative money.
