The Asia-Pacific Marine Biotechnology Conference (APMBC) has been, and continues to be, a major contributor to developments in the marine sciences.
Dating back to 1995, previous APMBCs have been held in Japan(thrice), Korea, India, China, Hawaii and Thailand. The 10th APMBC officially announced to be hold in Taipei, Taiwan, on May 4th to 8th, 2014.
The main theme of the 10th 2014 APMBC is the challenges of marine biotechnology for science, food, medicine, energy and environment.
The 10th APMBC will bring together scientific leaders from all over the world, as well as young scientists and newcomers to the field of marine biotechnology.
We expected to get together with multinational body of tentative topics for plenary lectures, focus on trends of the fields of aquaculture biotechnology; genomics, proteiomics and metabolomics and marine biotechnology; biotechnology of marine organisms of animal, plant and microorganism; bio-energy source from marine resources, and aquatic models for human disease research.
