全球集思论坛（GIS Taiwan)为由台湾大学官方举办、全台最大的学生学术论坛，本届年度会期举办时间为7/14 - 7/18。旨在汇集来自世界各地的优秀青年学子，针对商业、文化、教育、科技等诸多议题进行深度讨论与交流，并建立良好的产学合作关系、透过业师制度以及讲学启发进而以行动方案落实所学。
On behalf of Office of Student Affairs, National Taiwan University, it is my great pleasure and honor to invite you to be part of Global Initiatives Symposium in Taiwan 2014, to be held during July 14-18 in Taipei.
The Global Initiatives Symposium in Taiwan is a collegiate-held event, pioneered back in 2009 by a group of college students from National Taiwan University. Every year a new topic is set in the hope of enabling participating students to gather, discuss and debate on current international affairs. At the same time we invite speakers from different fields of expertise to come and share their different points of view, and by gathering guests from different communities, we aim to combine practical with theoretical thoughts, as well as to create a platform for the leaders of different communities to interact with the bright minds of tomorrow.
This year’s topic is “Stand Up! Stand Out! ”We hope that by holding workshops, forums and action program, delegates can be inspired to develop brand new thoughts on the related issues.
With great effort, GIS Taiwan has been growing at a substantial pace. We sincerely hope that you are able to attend our conference as the delegate and enjoy the conference held by our student organizing team.
