The year 2014 marks the 20th anniversary of China Association for Comparative Studies of English and Chinese approved by Ministry of Education and Ministry of Civil Affairs of China. The Association will hold its 11th National Congress and the International Symposium on Comparative Studies of English and Chinese and Translation Studies on August 25th-28th, 2014 at Tsinghua University in Beijing, China. The Symposium will be themed on “Opportunity · Innovation · Harmony”. Within the framework of the three sections, namely, English and Chinese languages, comparative studies of English and Chinese cultures, and translation studies, the following topics of interest, including but not necessarily limited to, are
