Donatas Podenas

个人简介：Deputy director, Light Conversion (Lithuania). Donatas Podenas (Deputy director) holds a degree in physics from Vilnius University. He spent 17 year (from 1985) at Department of Quantum Electronics of Vilnius University as engineer, PHD student and researcher. Donatas joined Light Conversion since 1995 as physicist, service engineer. He is deputy director since 2006. Light Conversion (registered name UAB MGF "Šviesos konversija") is the world leading manufacturer of wavelength tunable ultrafast light sources based on TOPAS and ORPHEUS series of optical parametric amplifiers (OPA) as well as DPSS femtosecond lasers PHAROS and CARBIDE. Light Conversion is a privately owned company with >170 employees. Company has the roots from Vilnius University Laser Research Center. Light Conversion is based in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. Design, R&D and production are done in new state-of-the-art facility, and in cooperation with Vilnius University Faculty of Physics. 演讲题目：《Light Conversion: Scientific and industrial developments; opportunities in China》

演讲摘要：Short historical overview of establishment of Light Conversion will be presented. Laser science and early experience in manufacturing of scientific and industrial femtosecond and picosecond lasers and optical parametric amplifier systems will be discussed. Light Conversion broadened its representation network over the all continents and most important markets. Representation and experience of Light Conversion products in Chinese market will be overviewed. New lasers, OPA, OPCPA, spectrometers and measurement devices developments enables offering almost all fs laser-based equipment for spectroscopy from the single manufacturer hands. Light Conversion femtosecond Yb-lasers are used for industrial applications for more than ten years. Long term experience of its products is discussed. New applications of femtosecond lasers will be presented. High power kilo- and multi-kilo-hertz OPCPA systems based on Light Conversion products will be presented also.
