Phaneesh Nagaraja works at OlaCabs.com on multitude of mobile scale technologies. Heis working on IoT initiatives which will re-define fleet management & urban transportation industry. Prior to Olacabs; he was working with flipkart.com as a Architect for mobile engineering and was instrumental in leading and implementing the User Engagement, Asset Management & Distributed Storage Platform that powers Flipkart's retail & eBooks stores. He has also contributed to many critical system modules for the flipkart.com's digital ecosystem & platform. While at SunGard, as part of Advanced Technology Consulting team, Phaneesh has implemented and deployed low latency high volume trading platforms using various BigData technologies (Hadoop, HBase, Cassandra, Hive, Storm, Solr etc) and internet scale low latency technologies. He has hands-on experience in Realtime trading algorithms using GPGPU & FPGA, Web scale data synchronization platform, large scale ERP and CRM systems. Phaneesh is an active contributor to various opensource projects. When not geeking around, he spends his time listening to heavy metal, photographing birds & nature, riding bicycle and responding to technology blogs and forums.
