Assist in the preparation, communication and implementation of a cloud-based enterprise resource planning solution (student, financials and human capital management); one of the most visible and complex initiatives being undertaken by the organization. Participate in the discovery (scope/planning), architect (design), configuration and prototyping (development), testing and implementation phases of the project life cycle for Ohio State’s business process transformation initiatives involving multiple technologies, systems business unit functions and stakeholders within the scope of the project for financial business processes. Conduct reviews of business units’ organizational structures, workflow designs, processes and systems and help to identify recommendations as to how to improve efficiencies and effectiveness with the ultimate goal of simplifying disparate processes by identifying shared processes. Support the objectives of the Business Process team, document processes and requirements, perform system configuration, coordinate, plan and execute testing efforts and use a variety of project management tools to track and report status and progress.
