2020年第36届欧洲人类生殖与胚胎学学会(ESHRE)年会将于2020年7月5日至8日在丹麦哥本哈根举行。ESHRE年会是生殖医学领域规模最大、最具影响力的年度国际会议之一，会议聚集了来自生殖医学、胚胎学、内分泌学、遗传学等多个领域内的专家学者，共同讨论该领域最新的研究成果、存在的争议和未来的发展方向。上届年会(ESHRE2019)有来自全球120多个国家和地区的12003名代表参加会议（其中中国代表429人）。
欧洲人类生殖与胚胎学学会（ESHRE）成立于1985年，其主要目标是促进生殖医学领域的临床和基础研究，增加人们对生殖生物学和医学的兴趣和理解。ESHRE通过组织教学和培训活动及在提高临床和实验室程序的安全和质量保证中提供指导，从而促进临床实践的改进，推动本领域医务人员和基础研究人员的知识更新和专业技能的提高。

Welcome to ESHRE 2020! Welcome to Copenhagen!
On behalf of the local organising committee it is our great pleasure to invite you to join us in wonderful Copenhagen from 5 to 8 July 2020 for the 36th Annual Meeting of ESHRE.
What a time to visit this lovely city. The days are long, the sun is warm (ish) and the science is hot. The meeting will see a return to the Bella Centre, the location of our last meeting in Copenhagen. It is a great place of our conference: spacious and light and just minutes from both the airport and the city centre, all connected by our clean, safe and quick metro system, which has been voted the best in the world. For those of you new to Copenhagen, you will find a beautiful city: open, green, small enough to walk around, and with a colourful and pretty city centre unblemished by skyscrapers. It doesn’t take long to understand why Copenhagen is home to the ‘happiest people in the world’. Is it the many friendly bars? The way in which striking modern Danish designed buildings plays alongside the many waterways? Is it the traditional sights such as the Little Mermaid? Or could it be Tivoli Gardens, the oldest theme park in the world located smack bang in the middle of the city? Or that everyone goes home at 15.30? Whatever it is, aside from the famous sights and the smiles, you will enjoy a city with some of the best restaurants in the world, as well as many cosy bistros, bars in which almost everyone speaks fluent English. Altogether a worthy location for the equally wonderful annual ESHRE meeting. With cutting edge science, inspirational speakers, and unrivalled networking opportunities, you really can’t miss it.
